MC is a recognised serial entrepreneur in the Broadcast and Post Production industry.
He was a driving force behind Abekas in the 1980s and went on to establish Alpha Image,
a company that lead the way during the digital revolution in the early 90s. After selling
the business to Dynatech, MC became the Head of European Sales closing substantial multi
million dollar contracts with STAR, ORBIT and Wharf Cable. He then moved to Discreet as
Director of Hardware technology before leaving to set up Post Impressions, a company
specialising in developing high performance platforms, in 1999. After selling Post
Impressions to Snell & Wilcox he has pursued a career providing Business Development
consultancy to small, high tech companies in the Film and TV industry.
MC's strength is his ability to combine his deep understanding of broadcast and post
production workflow with his knowledge of the technologies involved to create pragmatic
solutions. His ability to then go on and sell those solutions makes his involvement very
special. As well as filling the CEO shoes, he is the company’s product evangelist.
Tim Weston is a highly accomplished sales manager, with many years experience in the post production, film & broadcast industries. He has a consistent and proven success record in driving positive sales growth for many well known companies. Most recently, he spent almost 10 years looking after the high-end Advanced Systems product sales at Discreet/Autodesk across many EMEA territories. Previously, he has worked at other key suppliers including Lightworks Editing Systems & Ampex, which combined with his early training as a BBC Engineer, has given him a good technical appreciation of customer requirements.
Iain Davies has provided technical expertise to a wide range of Broadcast companies, including Quantel and Discreet and several startup companies. He likes to visit customers to understand their processes and needs, and thereby drive R&D towards meeting those requirements. Iain likes to understand the technology behind the products he works with, and to help users to get the best of out them.
